When Christine Jensen was growing up, she wore out a few copies of Miles Davis’s seminal album Kind of Blue. Now, the Juno Award-winning jazz musician has composed a piece based on how that record made her feel. With the release of her third jazz orchestra album, Harbour, Jensen sits down with Q’s Tom Power to talk about a track called Fantasy On Blue, which was inspired by Davis’s famous album.

The full interview with Christine Jensen is available on our podcast, Q with Tom Power. Interview with Christine Jensen produced by Ben Edwards.
